Membership Application Instructions

Mandatory Supporting Documents

Regular Membership (permanent)

  • Proof of permanent residence or Canadian citizenship, or passport with study or work permit for not less than 12 months; and
  • A copy of degree certificate or diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution for an academic program of not less than three years, or proof of a professional designation from a recognized regulatory authority.

Student Membership (5-year term)

  • Proof of permanent residence or Canadian citizenship, or passport with study permit for not less than 12 months; and
  • Proof of enrollment in a degree or diploma program of not less than three years in a recognized post-secondary institution.

Fees and Terms

  • The non-refundable membership fee for regular or student membership is $130.00 plus HST ($65.00 plus HST for a member’s spouse or child).
  • A student member automatically becomes a regular member upon providing proof of successful graduation.
  • Student members begin to enjoy TD Insurance group rate 30 days after receiving membership.
  • If you are currently enrolled in a university/college, please provide a school letter that indicates your program of study.
  • CPAC has the right to require additional proof of education qualifications or other identification documents before giving approval of membership.
